Alister Colley featured at Eden Gallery in Lichfield

A graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University, Alister developed his illustrative style following his passion for film story boards (a visual representation of a film’s narrative).

Following his passion for illustrative art he continued to develop his portfolio aimed at the Commercial market and in April 2005 launched his freelance illustration business ‘Zeitgeist Illustrations’. He enjoyed immediate success, receiving commissions for novel covers, children’s books, C.D. covers and corporate branding.

Continuing to develop his now very original style, in February 2007 he began to approach his local galleries. His artwork proved to be immediately successful, with galleries selling out and approaching him for more. His now trademark style combines the simplicity and bright palette of cartoon illustration with a complex perspective of a world viewed through a fisheye lens With features in National and local newspapers and magazines and several appearances on the BBC, Alister has not looked back.
