Kay Johns featured at Eden Gallery in Lichfield

Kay specialises in equestrian, livestock, wildlife and dogs. Born in Tring, Hertfordshire, in 1964 she spent most of her childhood around horses, riding around the beautiful Chiltern Hills and surrounding countryside. Always having a house full of pets, and an extreme passion for painting and drawing, painting pets and wildlife was an obvious choice of subject matter. 

After attending Watford Art college and a London Art college for a total of four years, Kay achieved a Distinction in Graphic Design/Illustration and went on to work for a publishers, designing children’s books. 

In 2004 Kay's career changed direction when she met her partner David, who ran a business framing and selling high quality wildlife art. Exhibiting around the country at all the main Agricultural County Shows, Kay’s artwork quickly became established throughout the UK.
