Jake Winkle featured at Eden Gallery in Lichfield

Based in Dorset and inspired by light and movement, Jake’s vibrant and dynamic paintings are reflections of the world around him, Wildlife and equestrian themed, his images capture the motion and majesty of his subjects perfectly.

Jake has twice been the winner of his category and best in show at the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society’s annual exhibition, as well as a former finalist in the Daily Mail’s ‘Not the Turner Prize’ competition. In addition to painting, Jake demonstrates and teaches all over the country and runs his own workshops and masterclasses in Dorset. He also contributes articles about his painting style for The Artist magazine and has been the subject of three instructional DVD’s as well as publishing a book on the subject.

Dale was born in Staffordshire in 1963, where he still lives. Always interested in painting from an early age, he went on to study art at Newcastle-under-Lyme College.
